Roasted Heart Potatoes

Some potatoes are red. Some potatoes are white. But you’re in for a SPECIAL treat tonight.

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. It is one of the most loved and hated holidays of the year. But I am here to help you LOVE this Valentine’s Day! And what could be better than a brand new Klondike Rose recipe for you to share with your family?

Roasted Heart Potatoes

6 Klondike Rose® potatoes

¼ cup butter

Grated Parmesan cheese

Garlic Salt

Wash potatoes. Cut lengthwise into ½ inch slices. Image

Take a heart cookie cutter and cut slices into hearts.

Pour the melted butter into a baking sheet. Generously sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the butter. Sprinkle garlic salt lightly over top of the cheese.

Place cut potatoes down on the butter. Spray tops of potatoes lightly with cooking spray.  Image

Bake at 400°F for 25-35 minutes, or until potatoes are cooked through.

Flip potatoes over about half way through to ensure crust on both sides. Serve while hot and crispy.

** Recipe Note** Although we used russet potatoes in the pictures, you can use any potato to make this dish! But they taste especially good with Klondike Rose or Goldust potatoes!
